“Prince Andrew is a Sweaty Nonce” charted at number 20, which genuinely lit some national Pride in me. I started the month going to see one of my favourite local bands TASH, who spotted me and shouted my name mid set, making me feel very special.

The line up Included HOUSEPLANT and the LP Launch for a band called LEAP. I bought a Lighter and a TeeShirt.

More live music was enjoyed this month at very opposite ends of the spectrum, at one end, in the damp basement of Dream Bags Jaguar Shoes, I got to see MANDRAKE HANDSHAKE for a second time. At the other end, I got to experience an incredible line up of Thundercat, Anderson Paak, and The Red Hot Chilli Peppers at the London Stadium. They all delivered!

Maybe they were too good to see live, because after this I had an infected eye and my brain began to melt during a week alone in the office, left me feeling very sorry for myself.

Reconnected with my friend Sebastian after 2+ years apart, and now all I can think of is a nomad life in Thailand. Drake dropped a shit album, and I wrote some very short lines of poetry:

Let the moon cloud your shadow, let the Locusts eat your mind, the gates are finally open, we’re religiously unkind
